Re: Sequential_File_0,0: Field "TRIP_NAME_IDENTIFIER&qu
Hi Hari how are you man this is venu from Pune...
Here is your solution:
Metadata specified does not match to the given file layout. Check for TRIP_NAME_IDENTIFIER, for which it is complaining about. What is the data type that been specified?
If you cannot nail down, change it to varchar and view the data.
Hope this will help you...

Sequential_File_0,0: Field "TRIP_NAME_IDENTIFIER"
I would also suggest you to check if all the columns before this column have been given values or not. if any column misses the value even 'null' then the datatype of this column expects some values which it could not find.
not sure if this is the exact solution. but this mite help you if the issues is due to this
for example please check below data(tab seperated)
column1<tab>column2<tab>column3<tab>column4<tab>column5
value1<tab>value2<tab>value4<tab>value5
instead it shud have been like this
column1<tab>column2<tab>column3<tab>column4<tab>column5
value1<tab>value2<tab>value3<tab>value4<tab>value5
in the above case error would be thrown at column3 if the datatype that it is expecting doesnot match
this is based on my personal experience.
can anyone please correct me if i am wrong here.
thanks

My guess is that the column definition for TRIP_NAME_IDENTIFIER is incorrect, perhaps a numeric type, while the contents are a string (either that, or your first line contains column names)

Come on, look at the value that was rejeced!
Then enable "first line is colunn names".
Import errors at offset 0 are almost always due to this property not being properly set.
