Configuration File warning: Virtual memory information is no

Post by kelvin_hk »

Hi all,

I am using datastage v8.1 on windows 2003 R2 and I got the following warning message when I check the configuration file in the Designer.

Any idea what is wrong? Thank you.

There's no problem.

Windows operating system does not support the system calls that the parallel engine makes to determine virtual memory. So you get a warning that it is safe to ignore. Since this is the only warning, your configuration file is good on that server.
