Job run is happening continuously

Hi,

My job is running since 2 days ,the job should be completed within 30 minutes.when i checked the log it says
1)" Failed to discover JobMonApp Port,APT_OrchHome Environment variable clearing file RT_STATUS 639".
2)Error setting up internal communication (fifo RT_SCTEMP/jOBNAME.FIFO); file is locked
Locked status() -1
Appreciate help in fixing the errors .

Is this, perhaps, a multi-instance job with two (or more) instances running at the same time?

No , It is one of the job under a job sequence.
The job sequence has 15 jobs one of the job is running continuously and not allowing the the sequence to be completed .

Are you certain anything is actually running, meaning you see active processes for it on the box? Or is this just your classic 'status flag be stuck' situation?

The input file has arrived and the records are being loaded till the previous job untill the job which shows the status flag is stuck.

The job sequence did not abort,but when after rest thejob and running it indidiually the job shows the above mentioned errors.

Are you using waitforfile activity stage ? what is the design of the jobs and design of the sequence ?

the job was hanged so i reimported the job and started to rerun the sequence ,now the job is running fine.

So, in other words, the status flag needed to be reset - something you could have done right from the Director.
