Executing Script through DataStage

Post by DSFreddie »

Hi All,

Request your help in resolving an issue with executing a Perl Script through DataStage.

I have a Perl Script that needs to be executed through DataStage. This Perl Script has 10 parameters. ( 6 Mandatory & 4 optional paramaters).

What are the different ways of executing this Perl Script through DataStage.

1) We can do it through Execute Command Activity, but how can we define the optional parameters there.
2) How abt creating a Wrapper Stage?
3) Any other possibilities?

Thanks a lot ....

Freddie.

:?

Come on, Freddie... you posted the exact same question two days ago and I responded to your 'request' 24 minutes later. Memory lapse? I don't think so as your two posts are identical. That kind of stuff just upsets the natives. If you didn't like my (quite serious) answer - say so. There. In your original thread. Do not take a mulligan and simply post it again in hopes of getting a more better answer.

I've got nothing more to say here, if you want to continue the conversation go back to your original linked post, ask a question or state an issue and we'll go from there.
