SAP BW load Plugin

Hi

In our project there are two connection for SAP BW system are defined , one with load balancing say C1 and other without load balancing say c2

While using those connection detail in BW load stage in a job passing the connection it it passed as C1(C2) like some values is passed to some function.

Can anybody let me know what does this mean? wht is the significance passing vales in such a way.?
