PX Job not running

Post by subrat »

Jobs are not running and throwing below error:

main_program: The section leader on <DB2 Server> died
main_program: **** Parallel startup failed ****
This is usually due to a configuration error, such as
not having the Orchestrate install directory properly
mounted on all nodes, rsh permissions not correctly
set (via /etc/hosts.equiv or .rhosts), or running from
a directory that is not mounted on all nodes. Look for
error messages in the preceding output.

Same job with same credential running fine from different terminal(client machine). The .profile is also same. Wondering whats going wrong

Seems like a set up issue.. but would be help me to debug if anybody experienced simmilar issue earlier or any idea on the above.

Is this repeatable? Or could it have been a transient glitch in the network?

Does your config file reference multiple nodes?

Odd. Even though it shouldn't make a difference, are both client machines in the same subnetwork (2nd to last group in the IP address)?
