Problem with LIBPATH

Post by BradMiller »

I am actually trying to get the correct time in Director for jobs.I found that the problem of incorrect time is due to dsenv enviroment variable and the specially LIBPATH. in that if /usr/lib is ahead of APT_ORCHOME/lib
then when we source we get the correct date
but when I start the DSEngine I get this error "
0509-150 Dependent module /usr/lib/libicui18n.a could not be loaded.
0509-103 The module has an invalid magic number."
and not able to login to Dstage
if we change it to normal like /usr/lib at the end in LIBPATH I am able to logon to Datastage but date doesnot work I mean it doesn't show up correctly in the Director.Could you please suggest me.

What O/S? What does "doesn't show up correctly in the Director" mean, what exactly are you seeing?

Its IBM AIX,the time which gets displayed on the Director is not the Server time,neither the client time,its 9 hours ahead time of PST.I am not sure where its picking this time from.

Hi,

We got it fixed by setting the time Zone to
TZ=PST8PDT
in dsenv file.
once we set it, we need to restart the DSEngine.

Hope this helps you as well.

Let me know if you need more information on the same.
