dsjob and dsdesign from command prompt

Post by pillip »

Hi,

Could you please tell the path where I could find dsjob and dsdesign commands in the client machine.
I find the path of the dsjob in C:\IBM\InformationServer\Clients\Classic.
Unable to find dsdesign.
Could you please tell the path where exactly i would find dsjob and dsdesign commands in the client machine.
Will I be able to find dsdesign on server machine.
I am able to use dsjob on server.

Thanks

the executables you are looking for is dsjob.exe and dsdesign.exe. Which should be present in the path you mentioned on the client machine i.e. C:\IBM\InformationServer\Clients\Classic.

DSDesign.exe is part of client software for DataStage and QualityStage Designer which can also perform tasks from command line basically to generate reports.
