what components are needed for IIS8.1 installation

what components are needed for IIS8.1 installation

Hi Admins,

our requirement is datastage and quality stage (8.1) in AIX .
what are components need to install. i am seeing the below components in installation doc.

1. IBM InfoSphere FastTrack

2. IBM InfoSphere Information Server Manager

3. IBM InfoSphere Metadata Workbench

4. IBM InfoSphere Business Glossary

5. IBM InfoSphere DataStage and QualityStage

6. IBM InfoSphere Information Analyzer

7. InfoSphere Information Services Director

8. IBM InfoSphere Metadata Server

does all the 8 components required to run DataStage and Quality Stage (IIS8.1)

It is better if you install all of them.
You can also ask IBM support ?

"Needed" is really up to YOUR needs.
The eight things you listed are all optional. But it would be odd not to install at least one of them.

My requirement is Only DataStage and Quality Stage. for that do i need to install all components OR if i install below 2 components

IBM InfoSphere DataStage and QualityStage

IBM InfoSphere Metadata Server

i will it run DataStage and Quality stage jobs ?

No, you still need a database for the repository.

If that's all you need, why did you buy licences for all the others? Some smooth-talking IBM salesperson, maybe?
