Log File Path on Windows

Post by bbobpop1 »

Hi

Can anybody please let me know where the log files are stored?

I am not able to see log in DataStage Director. Is there any way to see the log for perticular job?

DataStage is installed on Windows Server

Thanks

Any logs or just the log for a particular job? And 'not able to see' means they show as empty or something else? And this is 8.0 or 8.1? For 8.1 you need to look elsewhere, from the console perhaps? :?

Thanks chulett.

The version of DataStage is 8.1.

I would like to see a log for perticular job And I am not able to see means..the DataStage Director is Retrieving log for that job from last two hours.

I tried by closing and re-opened the Director.

Thanks

Meaning it is "hanging"? That can happen when the log contains a bajillion warnings and you may just need to be very patient. Do you want to see what's in it or just empty it?

Sounds like the RT vs OR logging issue....... consider switching the flags inside of dsparams (has been discussed in the forum before...do some searches)
