Shared container related pop up message

Post by mouthou »

Hello all,

There is some strange pop up message in many of my jobs due to the usage of shared containers. Whenever I try running the job in Designer, it gives the message below

"The following shared container(s) have been modifed since this job was compiled
To continue, you must recompile the job"

Previously, the jobs seem to work fine and lately started this message. As it says, even the job is recompiled, the message is not going away while running.
And the shared containers are not changed for sure and that too not all of them.

Would like to know if there is any bug in the new version DS 8.0, with respect to the usage of shared containers.
Also, if there is any work around to fix this message. I never faced this in the earlier versions.

Thanks in advance,

Have you find any solution to your problem?
We are also facing the same issue.

Sounds like a bug to me. What exact version are you on? Have you contacted your official support provider for this?

As a test, I converted the shared container to local, and it works correctly.

Sure, it's the "shared" part that is the issue. 8.0 was buggy as all get-out, are you up-to-date on your "rollup" patches? You really should go to 8.1 as soon as you can. IMHO.
