I am using Datastage Version 8.1 and my director running very slow all of sudden but for couple of projects we set in project adminstartion to auto purge level to 5 days.
What could be the reason to slow down the director, if it is due to the no of logs created, how we can purge the logs in Version 8.1 at a project level.

I took the help from the below DSX post and it worked fine.But I didn't understand how to purge the existing logs from XMETA.
Can any one explain?
