Hi Experts,

what are naming convensions of DS 8.0, 8.0.1, 8.1

which one is Websphere versions& which one in infosphere versions ?

You want to stay away from 8.0 and 8.0.1 if possible and only go for version 8.1. Lot of defects fixed between those versions. The rebranding from WebSphere to InfoSphere is just an IBM marketing move, nothing about the architecture of the product changed.
