TCP/IP Protocal error

Hi Every one,

My jobs are getting aborted due to the following fatal error messages that are displayed in director.

buffer(0),1: Fatal Error: Cannot find protocol entry for tcp protocol!

buffer(1),1: getprotobyname for 'tcp' failed with error 0 (Error 0)

buffer(1),1: Failure during execution of operator logic.

Could someone please help me on this?

This is the first time we are facing the above issues.

Hello,

Check your network admin for this issue. as i think problem with network setup with remote server to your client.

This could be permissions on the services file.
