MQS.DLL FAILED TO LOAD

Hi,

I got a job, read data from a sql server table, output to transfomer, then XML output, then WebSphere MQ. But the job failed to run with the error message below:

main_program: Fatal Error: Fatal: Shared library (mqs.DLL) failed to load: errno = (-126), system message = (The specified module could not be found. )

I look into the datastage server's environment, the path points to the mqs.dll is there.
This is windows OS.

What seems to be wrong?

Please help!

Look at the log file of your job and see if the ENVironment variables are actually set correctly during runtime for that job.

I searched the DSXchange's knowledge base and found one but it's Unix environment. I am on Windows.

There are three different places where the file, mqs.dll, can be found as below:

C:\Windows\system32;
C:\IBM\InformationServer\Server\DSComponents\bin;
C:\IBM\InformationServer\Server\DSComponents\StagingArea\installed\MQSeries\server\windows;

None of those three directories are in the runtime "LIB" path, which explains your error message. Now you need to figure out why your LIB variable is so small. I don't have a Windows installation, but perhaps someone here who does could post their LIB environment value.
