restoring project from backup

restoring project from backup

Hi,

One of our Project files got corrupted ( the design file DS_JOBOBJECTS).
I have the backup image of that project and would like to know how I can restore it.

1) By creating a new project - Removing old one - Then untar the backup image

2) untar the backup image without removing corrupted project and overwriting it.

Please advise
