Unable to import table definitions- DB2

Unable to import table definitions- DB2

Database: DB2 9.4
Datastage Server: Ascential 7.5.2 hp_ux
Datastage client: on windows XP
Connectivity: DB2 connect

I have many db2 instances and databases,some are OK,but some are following:

From DataStage Manager, when I try to import the table definitions using Plug-in Meta Data Definitions, I get the following error.

"Unable to obtain list of available tables in server "<SERVER NAME>"

Is the server in this case a DB2 server or a DataStage server?

If it's a DB2 server, check that the DB2 client software is properly configured for that server and that any necessary environment variables have their correct settings.

If it's the DataStage server, check whether the repository needs re-indexing.
