Can not get excluesive access to data stage job, monitoring

HI

I am unable to run my job, i am getting error like, "cannot get exclusive access to datastage job , job may be monitoring."

but i didnt open any monitoring window,

please help out in this.

HI,

Please search for the Job Unlock, there are enough answers given.

Anyways, you can release it thro director. In the director, go to job cleanup resources option and then search for the name of the job to get your PID. Unlock the same.

From Datastage director you can able to release the lock or else via Datastage Administrator command you can able to release the lock .

Anyone could be monitoring the job and causing this issue, not just you. 'Cleanup Resources' from the Director will at the very least show you who and maybe also be used to solve the problem, depending on the permissions involved.
