Source file or target file extension?
What have you tried so far and has not worked?

Does this mean you'll be appending to a file and want to rename it as well each time, or do you just mean each new file must have a current timestamp as part of its name? :?

 Not the first time someone has asked this question, which a search of the forums for something like 'system date' would quickly reveal. Why not give that a shot?
