Ardent DataStage (vs) IBM DataStage
What is the difference Between Ardent DataStage and IBM DataStage, Is any body using Ardent DataStage.

VMark Software produced versions 1.0 through 2.2. It then became Ardent Software through a merger. Ardent Software produced versions 3.0 through 5.2 (and 2.5). Ardent Software was acquired by Informix which subsequently split into two; one half (databases) was sold to IBM and the other half was renamed Ascential Software. Ascential Software produced versions 6.0 through 7.5 of DataStage before being acquired by IBM. IBM has produced versions 8.0 and 8.1 of DataStage thus far, and a version 8.2 is in development.
