We have a host server and created 2 zones one with 4 CPU and one with 2 CPU(Virtually it is two machines).We want to use 4 cpu box for datastage and qualitystage jobs, we want to use 2 CPU box for Infomation Analyzer. How we can do a single IBM Iformation server installtion in this case with a common metadata repository between Datastage and Information Analyzer.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Should be no problem. The Information Server products need to know where the Information Server itself (the domain server) is, and vice versa. If you set up (install) the components individually you will be asked for this information by the install script.
You can NOT achieve what you are seeking to do with a single run of the installation script.

Metadata Repository
We installed IBM Information server on 4 CPU box except Information Analyzer and then installed IBM Information Server on 2 CPU box for Information Analyzer except Datastage and qualitystage designer but pointing the 2 CPU box to use xmeta of 4 CPU box for common metadata repository between these two Virtual machines.
Before 2 CPU box IBM Information server install, 4 CPU Information server is working fine including Datastage designer.After the 2 CPU Information server install it is not even let me log in to 4 CPU Datastage Designer as well as in Webconsole we are not able to open Configuration.
Is that metadata repository corrupted due to 2 CPU installtion is sharing the meadata repository(xmeta) of 4 CPU.
What is the best way to do the installtion in this scenario.
