DS.REINDEX ALL

I have read the forum for solving the designer and director jobs not in sync . It suggessts to issue DS.REINXED ALL .

And i want to know from where should i run this command ?

From the admin client's command option ?

Is this for a project-wise or it runs on the whole server ?

How long does this command take to complete ?

That's more of a 7.x solution and not as applicable to the 8.x world. How about you explain the problem you are trying to correct instead, what does "designer and director jobs not in sync" mean?

The director throws the "run time Key 457 Already exists" when someone had tried to rename the job while is it was running.

I had executed this command and it solved.
But if there is any other way of solving it in 8 . I would like to know about that also ?
