Search (here and the internet) for the following terms:
Samba
FTP
IBM Software Services Group

Hi,

I will make it clear.

We need to load data through Datastage(Installed on Windows) to DB2 DB (Installed on LINUX server). We know that we cann't connect directly to LINUX server from Datastage server installed on windows.

Is it possible to to connect LINUX server through Datastage? Is there a work around for the same?

Thanks..

If you want to load data into DB2 through datastage, why do you want to connect UNIX server rather than connecting DB2?

Did you try to connect DB2 through odbc / wire protocol ?

I guess we cannot connect to Windows server through ODBC from LINUX Server.
ODBC allows only Oracle,DB2,Infromix,Sybase..... but not Windows.

Install DB2 client on Windows and catalog the database.
