Error setting up internal communications (fifo //./pipe/)

HI ,

We recently installed Version 8 of datastage and when we tried to run a simple parallel job like sending data from a file to dataset i get a error Error setting up internal communications (fifo //./pipe/ . The parallel compilers are in place and i could not figure out why i could not run even a simple job in parallel.The server version works fineCan any one kindly suggest as why this happens ,, could it be some environment setting problems,, should i chsnge any of it. Kindly help .

Did you search first? I found this one if it points in the right direction for the solution. I can't check as I'm currently using 7.5.1
