Job Activity Properties cannot be viewd

Frens,

i have one small issue,

i have just draged and dropped all job activities wen i try to see its properties,i couldn able to see it..when i double click on it its not opneing..

can u please tell me if there any patch or exe has to be runned ?

if so pls let me know the path and the name to be executed.

When you say 'job activities', are you talking about sequence? Did you try closing the Desginer session and starting a new session?

Are/were you able to see properties before?

Are you able to see properties of stages in server jobs?

Yes only when i try to open job activity properties in job sequencer i couldn open it..

other than jobsequncers everything is working fine..

i guess some exc has to be runned...

Were you able to see the properties of job activities before? did you try other stages in Sequence?

You said 'some exe has to be runned...' . You mean to say that you installed DS for the first time and seeing this issue?

i cannot able to see any properties of any stages which i use in job sequencers,

in my datatstage designer- server jobs i can see all my stage properties,

yes some executable has to be runned to enable the properties window from the installation folder of ascential datastage..but i forgot the name and path for it...

Sounds like you need the Windows XP "Service Pack 2" patch for DataStage. Request it from your support provider.
