Error while loading oracle 10g express edition

Error while loading oracle 10g express edition

hey am alex.. am using ascential data stage 7.5x2 while am loading orcale 10g express edition datbase to respository in datbase its loading and all the meta data(table headings ) are laodes... the problem is when am viewing the oracle databse record in data satge am getting an error
message
DSBrowser..Oracle_OCI_0: ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified
DSBrowser..Oracle_OCI_0.DSLink1: DSP.Open GCI $DSP.Open error -100.

if any one know to slove the error please reply me

The person to ask is an Oracle DBA. Somewhere (probably the tnsnames.ora file) something is not correctly configureed. Or it may be that the environment variables such as ORACLE_HOME have not been set.

Are you having any luck access that Oracle source? I don't believe the "express" edition is supported at all, specifically the client.
