Sequencer Restartability

Post by ag_ram »

In administrator, properties, sequence section - whats the significance of checking the "Add checkpoints so sequencer is restartable on failure"
cant the restartability be achieved only by checking the "Add checkpoints so sequencer is restartable on failure" in the sequencer job properties.
please help.

Thanks.

if you do it in the administrator the property would be set for all sequences by default

The Administrator client sets project-wide defaults for any subsequently-created objects.

Right - as noted, in all NEW sequences.

I believe this is at the Job level not at the record level!

Folks can anybody tell me what do i do with the half processed data in production,

Say 50% of the data is commited on target and you are doing only inserts.

how do we take care of it?

Do we have to delete the records and reload it or there is any workaround?

This particular feature being discussed is at the Activity level in a Sequence job. For your other (unrelated) question, please start a new post here.
