Failed to connect to Datastage, directory not a UV account

Hello,

On the host site of Websphere I added a user .
With this user I am able to logon to Datastage.
Datastage uses the user 'dsadm' to connect to unix from the datastage server.

Now i added a user on unix.
Because I want the new datastage user to logon to unix with the new unixuser i added a user credential in which i set the combination of datastage user with the unixuser.

Problem now is that i am not able to logon to datastage any more with the datastage user.
I get the message:
Failed to logon to datastage server. The directory you are connecting to either is not a UV account or doen not exist.

Is there a setting in the administration tool that I forgot or has this to do with a usersetting in unix?

The O/S user which was assigned to the datastage user didn't have enough rights on Unix.
