Designer login on multiple server

Post by mmanes »

I've a multiple server installation on the same box (6.0.1 and 7.5.1.A).
At logon (on designer) I've the following error (click on image):

<a href="http://img530.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... s75pu0.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img530.imageshack.us/img530/3513 ... pu0.th.jpg" border="0"/></a>

Can you help me?

Tks in advance.

Did you install the MCM? You need the Multiple Client Manager to switch between versions as only one version can be active at any given time.

Yes, I did.
It happens on the second installation (7.5.1.A)

Host system - <hostname>:31539
User name - <user>
Password - <password>
Project - <project name>

It makes the logon and pop-up the message.

After that, it works properly (it seems)

PS: I'm sorry for my english

No worries, your English is way better than my Italian.

So, you installed both client versions on your PC to completely separate locations and then use the MCM to switch back and forth appropriately?

But English is more important than Italian

Yes, I did.
All installation have completely separate locations.

It's a strange error...
maybe the problem is a link of libraries but I don't know if it's server side or client side.

Sorry, don't know either but I would assume 'client'. :(

Suggest you open a case with your official support provider and let us know what the resolution is.
