converting

I have input file as

1,a
1,b
1,c
2,c
2,a
3,c
3,a
3,b

I want to convert these as output

1 abc
2 ca
3 cab

And there's no reason why you shouldn't.

Search DSXchange for "vertical pivot" and adapt the techniques shown (which generate a separate column per input row).
