Unable to find the Environment Variable Settings

Post by ds_raman »

The Director shows the job executed successfully, but there is no data being processed, even the Environment Variable Settings is not seen in the log.

What could be the issue,
Thanks and regards

What do you mean by "no data being processed" - that the jobs run but don't do anything or that the log files contain no entries? (or both)?
I recall having seen a similar problem that ended up being caused by system changes - a restart of DataStage solved the issue that time.

Are you looking at the correct log?

No data has been extracted, but the log for an earlier day has all the entry for Environment variable settings, Parallel job initiated......

Ya, its the correct log i am referring to.,
Compared with an earlier day's log., the current day's log is missing the following entries, Environment variable settings, Prarallel job initiated.

Current day's log has only the following entries,

Starting Job ....
AfterJob(1):Sleeping for 10 seconds
AfterJob(1): Waking up......
Finished Job ...
Log prior to last 3 runs cleared ..
Auto-purged 20 log entries.
Thanks and regards

So, you have an after job routine that just sleeps? :?

Please post the job design, perhaps that will provide some clue.
