Job Aborted........Error

Hi,

Designed a job as

Sequential file stage--------------->Sequential file stage
just passing data from one file to another file facing an error as below stated

main_program: Fatal Error: Null archive.

please help me to resolve the issue

Have you tried searching the forums? I got 14 other hits on "Null archive", did none of them help?

NULL Archive error is due to the temp folder is not available in your C drive

Actually it's tmp (not Temp) that has to exist, but only if UVTEMP or TEMP environment variables refer to /tmp. And it has to exist on the drive on which DataStage was installed, which may not be the C: drive.

Why not just copy the file if that is what you want to do?
