not able to find custom built stage in data stage compilatio

Hi All,

I am working in data stage version 8.0.1 I have a custom built stage in my respository.
however when i am not able to find it in the data stage compilation wizard when I am trying to compile the custom built stage. I am able to find rest of the custom built stages in the compilation wizard and i was able
to compile them successfully.

Have anyone of you encountered such as issue before in datastage version 8.0

can anyone please suggest me.

I believe that you can only compile a Build stage from within the stage properties dialog.

from v8.0;
from designer --tools ---> multiple job compile ---> opens data stage compilation wizard --> i selected
compile custom stage buildops -->i could not find my cutom build stage here

can you please let me know what do you mean bystage properties dialog. where can I find it.

Hi All,

CAn anyone please suggest any work around for my problem. I am not able to find a custom wrapped stage type
in the compilation wizard.So i am not able to compile the custom wrapped stage. I am working on data stage v8.

Suddenly we're talking Wrapped rather than Build stage? Does a Wrapped stage even need separate compilation?

Yes, a Wrapped Stage needs a wrapper script file generated.
Whether the MultiJob Compiler can see them seems to be the issue ...

The MultiJob compiler does not regenerate Wrapped stages, only Buildops.
Sounds like an issue to take to support - unless you are happy to copy the wrapped\*.op files between projects.
