Upgrade to Datastage Version8

We are planning to upgrade from Datastage Version 7.5.1A to Version8.

Please let me know what steps we need to do for this upgrade.

Lots. Have a look at the online guide for Planning to install IBM Information Server. There is an installation planning worksheet on it. You need to decide where the new Metadata Server goes, it comes with a database repository and WebSphere Application Server and is installed in addition to the DataStage server. Your DataStage projects can be upgraded through a simple export and import.

Can I run both Datastage 7.5.1A and Datastage Version 8 in the same server?

Yes, you can run multiple instances of DataStage on a given machine.
