IBM websphere datastage version 8.0.1 Installation

Hi Friends,

I am installing IBM websphere datastage version 8.0.1 on Windows

System Config I have:

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 2003 Standard edition with SP 1
Additionaly Having: Microsoft visual studio 2005 installed in it.

Is this OK to proceed with the installation? Or is there anyother softwares that i should have before installiing?

Do i need to have .net framework too installed before proceeding with DS installation?

In Visual studio 2005 which i installed having .net frame work 2 version. is that Enough?


Please let me know this prerequisites info to proceed with installation...

Thanks for the info. I referred the doc and started installing..

I got the error message after 50% of installing as

" An error occured while installing the domain components . For information see the log file"

In the qsdomainasbapplication.log, i got
WARNING: WebSphere QualityStage Reporting Service domain components build info file does not exist!

In the casdomainasbapplication.log,
WARNING: Connector Access Service domain components build info file does not exist!

In the datastagedomainasbapplication.log,
WARNING: WebSphere Datastage service domain components build info file does not exist!

In the omddomainasbapplication.log,
WARNING: Operational Metadata Services domain components build info file does not exist!

WARNING: WebSphere QualityStage Reporting Service domain components build info file does not exist!

in ISInstall.log
msg1, os.name = Windows 2003
OS Service Level =
msg1, os.version = 5.2
msg1, os.vendor = null
msg1, os.arch = x86
msg1, .config Not found

I dont find any other error messages in the log.
