Can you connect to the Information Server Administration console? (Point your Internet Explorer browser at port 9080 on the machine that hosts Information Server and log in with someone with IS admin privileges. This is the only way you could correct "screwed up" permissions and/or credentials.)

Did this happen all of a sudden or have you never been able to log in? Are you trying to login with a datastage administrative account or a user account?

You'll need to use an information server administrative account to check the below possibilities:

If it happened all of a sudden, maybe your credential mapping is mapped to a user who has a password that expired.

If you have never been able to log in to DataStage, log into your Information Server Web Console and make sure your credential mapping is correct.
(Information about credential mapping can be found in the 'IBM Information Server Planning, Installation, and Configuration Guide' page 57)

If that is correct, then again within the Information Server Web Console click on 'Users and Groups' > 'Users' and check to see if the user has the correct roles.

If the user is NOT a DataStage administrator, you need to configure the user to have access to the specific project you are trying to access. Do this by going to the DataStage Administrator Client, find your project, click properties, click the permissions tab, click add user or group and take it from there.

If all of that is set up correctly and you still can't log in, you'll have to wait for one of the guru's to help you ;)
