Websphere MQ - Segmentation

Hi,

Is the Websphere MQ stage configured to segment data into 256KB sized chunks when it MQ's a message out?

All the log files in the MQ server seem to be of size 256 KB.

256 "K" ? That's awfully small. Can you be more explicit? Do you have a queue with max size of greater than 256k that is getting truncated?
