Pls explain using #PARAM1# and #$PARAM1#

Pls explain using #PARAM1# and #$PARAM1#

what are the scenariois we use these where we use each one of them and why?

Pls explain all the details you know about these.

The one without the "$" character is a "regular" job parameter. The one with the "$" character is a job parameter that is a reference to the environment variable called PARAM1.
