External Source Stage

Hi,

In one of the job in my project, External Source stage has been used with following properties
Source Method=Specific Program(s)
Source Program = paste lib/file1.txt lib/file2.txt.
The output of this stage has been used in further processing.

Can any one tell me what PASTE does here.

Ooo... haven't been able to say this for a long time.

From a UNIX command line, type "man paste" and (hopefully) all will be revealed.
