Parallel Startup Failed after Server Crash

Post by kommven »

Server on which DataStage is mounted crashed. After restore get this error "very randomly"
On Reset and Run, the same job works perfectly smooth.
I searched this forum for this error and found possible reasons, but they dont seem to be the cause like:
1. rsh permissions. (nothing on rsh has been changed )
2. When CHECK Configuration in DataStage Manager, looks fine.

Moreover it just happens once in a couple of days whereas this job runs every 5 mins and besides there are 100 other jobs.

Here is the error message. Please help.

main_program: **** Parallel startup failed ****
This is usually due to a configuration error, such as
not having the Orchestrate install directory properly
mounted on all nodes, rsh permissions not correctly
set (via /etc/hosts.equiv or .rhosts), or running from
a directory that is not mounted on all nodes. Look for
error messages in the preceding output.

main_program: Step started on node svrark-dhub01; it uses 2 nodes.
The program running the step is /opt/datastage/Ascential/DataStage/PXEngine/bin/osh.

main_program: The ORCHESTRATE startup program in /opt/datastage/Ascential/DataStage/PXEngine/etc/standalone.sh is being used.
