Hi all,
I created the a template from a existing job design and I got the message that the template was created successfully.

But I was unable to view it from the repository of designer.

can any one give some information on this ,like where these can stored ,from where we are able to access, what are all the options that I need to create .

Templates do not show up as jobs. You need to read the manual, they're stored on your PC in a folder path fixed in your registry.

Somewhere like C:\Program Files\Ascential\DataStage\Templates

Template categories become sub-folders in that folder.

The templates themselves can be viewed with any XML or text viewer.

To where? They are already XML-format exports. You can emplace them in the Templates folder on any client.

Better yet, put them in a network folder and update your registry to point there.
