Server- Connectivity- login to client componenets

Post by nkln@you »

6 months back, I used to connect to a DS Server using user name "dsusr1".

After that no member in our team used that server, now I wanted to connect to that server and carry out some activities.

The server ip is x.x.x.x:9030 .

Now I am trying to connect to that server using user id : dsusr1. It says

Failed to connect to host, user name and/or Password incorrect.

I am able to connect to the server using dsadm account, but even I am not able to login DS Designer using dsadm account saying user name and/or Password incorrect.

I thought server would not be running. I executed ipcs -m|grep adec. It is returning rows. So, the server is running.

How could I login to DS designer using dsadm and with dsusr1. What steps do I need to do.

Do check with your network administrators about those login details. There might be a possibility that during last six months that userid's got expired or so.

I suggested that b'coz once at a client site,it happened to me and the culprit had been the Administrator who had changed some groups security assuming that group does not exist anymore. Are you able to log onto any other systems or applications apart from this?

Your site needs to get some Administrators!
