Difference between DB2API Stage and DB2 Enterprise stage

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me the Difference between DB2API Stage and DB2 Enterprise stage.

The documentation mentions that DB2Api is a sequential stage and DB2 Enterprise stage is a Parallel stage, other than this there is no mention.

I would like to know if i have to read/load from/into DB2 database which stage i have to use?considering that they both do the same thing.
