Information Server 8 installation problem

Hi experts,

I'm trying to install the Information Server on a AIX 5.3. During the DB2 installation one error is through. It refers me to the /tmp/configure_db2.log file...

The two first lines of the file are

08/28/2007 12:35:43 CREATE DATABASE xmeta ALIAS xmeta USING CODESET UTF-8 TERRITORY US COLLATE USING IDENTITY USER TABLESPACE MANAGED BY AUTOMATIC STORAGE AUTORESIZE YES INITIALSIZE 500 M INCREASESIZE 10 PERCENT MAXSIZE NONE

08/28/2007 12:35:44 SQL0968C The file system is full. SQLSTATE=57011

I have specified that the path on which all components should be installed is /data/IBM...

The /data folder has 128Gb of free space
The /tmp folder has 1,5 Gb of free space

The installation folder is also placed on /data folder.

Could you, please, help me with this error? Thanks in adavance.

Hi,

the problem is raised because the /tmp has not enought free size (at less 2Gb)

the installation option -is:tempdir doesn't work fine.
