Ports for DataStage connectivity

I have finished installing DS on a Solaris box.
In IS it requires to have a UNIXid on the server box, the same id added in web console.
Now, when Im trying to connect through admin as dsadmin it asks me and whose reponses are below -

Domain- devserver007:9080
(servername:port#)

UserName - dsadm
Password - xxxxx
DataStage Server - devserver007
(servername)

Im gettting timed out. I think network security is preventing me to connect through port 9080.

The Unix Admin has already added port 31538 for the rpx daemon in /etc/services.
Do you think that port 9080 also needs to be listed in /etc/services?
Or is there something else?
