Export Job creates 1KB file

Hi All,
Exporting of Job Design creates a 1KB file for the my project.But when i tried to export another job from different project for the same server , I am exporting the Job Design.
My export file looks like
BEGIN HEADER

ToolInstanceID "ETL"

Can you please help.

Does your job "CopyOfTCIJBBKORFO" contain anything? It doesn't look like you selected a full project export.

Hi,

I am taking export of Individual Job Component. All my Jobs In the same project even i tried to export gives the header file only.

Could you explain which buttons/switches you are selecting in your export window? What happens if you export the job, source & objects?

Hi,

I am only selecting the Job Design.
If i select other check Box like Tables, Job Design I am only getting Table information. There is no Job Designs in the file. I checked to export some other jobs also , But the result is the same.

The comment at the end of your export file claims that there are no components in the job itself. Can you please open the job in Designer and see whether there are any stages in it?

Good Morning.

I am able to open the Jobs and able to execute.Previously i am able to export those jobs and put different servers.

Are you specifically able to open job CopyOfTCIJBBKORFO ?

Hi Ray,

I am able to Open the Job and changed the stage queries and executed. It is working fine.

But to Migrate these Jobs to test M/c It is creating a problem.

What about doing a save-as of your job and checking to see if you can export that. If yes, then there might be some corruption in your project.
