Unix installation problem

I have installed DS751A on unix and the osh is also running successfully,i am unable to connect to the DS server,it says invalid userid/password eventhough the password provided is correct.

"Failed to connect to host "ipaddress" ,project UV.(UserName And/OR password incorrect 80011.I have installed the DS server on sun-os as non-root user but when i try to run the impersonation mode from root user it says this is not the original user.When i go back as non-root user and try to run it,it says you are not the super user to run it.
