MQ Connector/Stage using publish/subscribe, any done it?

I am currently trying to configure either the MQ connector or MQ Stage to subscribe to an MQ Topic. I can use them to successfully write and read to/from MQ queues, but the documentation is not real clear on how to properly setup either the connector or the stage to subscribe correctly. I have java code that works fine so I know that MQ is setup correctly. I was hoping someone had some good examples of settings that worked.

Yes, I agree, the documentation is difficult to comprehend. We have MQ working with a local queue but we cannot figure out how to connect to a remote queue. Hopefully someone has the solution.
