When using named user licenses to access Oracle 11i and making a connection to the Open Interface Tables or the Extention/Custom tables from a parallel job on the Data Stage canvas you need to configure the job with user login and database instance. This probabily does not change if you are using pl/sql from the job in Ascential to access 11i. The question is:
Do you need a license for any of these 3 types of connections or do they fall under( using Oracle's terminology ) the customer access or an external user access. Thanks,
