CFF VR record type

Can anyone please tell about this record type in CFF.

Where and in what context did you encounter the terminology?

I think the poster might be referring to vectors, but they are adequately covered in the CFF stage documentation.

OP is referring to the one among various Record type option available in CFF stage. The other types are Fixed, Fixed Block, Variable, Variable Block, Variable Spanned, Variable Block Spanned, VR.
Except, VR rest were given with some explanation. I guess VR should be some thing related to Mainframe specific record type.
Impossible doesn't mean 'it is not possible' actually means... 'NOBODY HAS DONE IT SO FAR'

Yes, you judged it right. I could not get any description about this record type anywhere , even at IBM help systems, full detail about all other record formats like F(Fixed),FB(Fixed block),V(variable),VB(variable block),VS(Variable spanned),VBS(Variable block spanned) is given but could not get anything about VR anywhere.
